Hi everyone,

I decided to make a new JEWEL ORCHID TERRARIUM, since the first one truned out pretty well. It just looks so elegant and striking!!! Definitely a main piece of decoration for your home. In this video I show how I made it and which plants I used for it, care tips and 1.5 months update. If you want to check some other of my terrarium videos, I will link them below.

How can you acquire Jewel orchids?
Well they are normally sold in specialized nurseries so I recommend you to look for one in your country or in a neighboring one since these plants can easily get damage in long transport periods.

Where did I get mine?
I purchased all of them this year from different vendors in the Netherlands and Germany.

1) Ludisia discolor 'nigrescens major' & Macodes lowii from OrchidsWubben (https://www.orchidwubben.com)

2) Anoectochilus fomosanus & oncidium pusillum from orchidz.nl https://www.orchidz.nl
3) Dossinia marmorata from Orchids Delux (https://www.orchidsdelux.com)

If you have any doubts or questions, just drop a message!

What do you need to make your own Terrarium?
1) A glass container with an opening for air (Orchids don’t like to be in total closed terrarium without some moderate air circulation
2) Plant soil according to the need of your plants (here I use a mix of orchid bark sphagnum and hydrokorrels)
3) PLANTS of your preference that can stand high humidity
4) Decorations such as rocks, wood pieces, or anything of your liking that doesn’t degrade fast
5) Any tools that can help you arrange the soils and plant distribution inside your container (i.e. spoons, tweezers, sticks...)

And a GOOD MOOD to start an AMAZING PROJECT ;)
