A large majority of Rocket League players find themselves in diamond rank. Diamond can be incredibly frustrating as there is a lot of difference in skill between players, and the distance from Diamond 1 to Champ 1 can feel monumental.

As a Rocket League Coach, I have seen my fair share of diamond gameplay and the session that I hosted with this player exhibited almost all of the habits I consistently see. On average most diamond players are slow, do not rotate properly, and struggle when it comes to confidence and timing. I pieced together some of the highlights from this session to give you the best tips and tricks to rank up out of diamond and reach the illusive Champ 1 rank.
