Carol knew from an early age that she wanted to be a lawyer. She however hadn't counted on the power of a high school teacher who verbalised what she saw as "beauty but no brains" to almost derail that plan. She went on to become a lawyer, she got over those deep implanted words that almost became her. Or did she? Never underestimate the power of someone to try and write your narrative.
