✳️ Friend Like Me was influenced by jive singer Cab Calloway as well as jazz pianist Fats Waller. Also in Friend Like Me, we can see the traces of the original design of Aladdin which was loosely based on actor Michael J. Fox. This design was reworked later for Aladdin to look more like Tom Cruise.
