The Torah portion of Ha’azinu which is read on this special ‘Sabbath of Repentance’ is a magnificent spiritual prelude to Yom Kippur, and alludes to the inner melody of our soul’s repentance as we prepare for the redemptive experience of Divine mercy and forgiveness.
The Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur 5784 (10 Tishrei) will be observed beginning at sunset on Sunday, September 24, 2023 and ending with nightfall on Monday, September 25, 2023.
