How to build yourself a set of easy and simple folding sawhorses. In case you are interested you will need enough lumber to make 16 lengths at 36 inches each, which will be your height so if you are more comfortable with say 32 inch height than substitute that. The type of lumber you use is up to you just keep in mind that the heavier you go the stronger it will be.... but also the bulkier and heavier it will be. So use your own judgment on the strength vs weight advantages/disadvantages.


You will also need:


approximately 70 screws
-4 door hinges ( i used inexpensive 3x3 door hinges from the local hardware store)
a length of approximately 6ft of small chain.




In this video I take you step by step through the building process to make these easy sawhorses as I found a lot of the designs online to be a little bit time consuming for someone who wanted an easy alternative, to not spend much time on a set of sawhorses and would rather spend it on the projects you need the horses for!
