Additionally, these options are cruelty-free and vegan, which means that no animals were harmed to obtain it.

These days, the internet is flooded with Soy, Almond, and Oat milk recipes that work for almost any recipe as a dairy replacement. They can be used to make tea, coffee, desserts, cereals and more. So many of us don’t know this, but plant based milks are not only a healthy substitute for dairy milk, but are also an environmentally-friendly option. Milk recipe using using Walnuts:-

Ingredients:

1/2 cup, i.e. about 70 g of soaked walnuts
¼ tsp Vanilla extract (Optional)
¼ tsp Cinnamon powder (Optional)
3 cups of water
Sugar (Optional)

Recipe:

1. Grind 1/2 cup, i.e. about 70 g of soaked walnuts in 3 cups of water.
2. You can add Cinnamon powder, Vanilla extract and sugar while grinding it.
3. Separate the milk from its pulp using a clean cloth or a nut-milk bag.
4. You can use Walnut milk to make tea or coffee.

Milk recipe using using Quinoa:-

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked Quinoa
Seeded Dates (Optional)
A pinch of salt
3 cups of water

Recipe:

Grind 1 cup cooked Quinoa in 3 cups of water (make sure you wash it properly first).
You can use seeded Dates as a sweetener.
Add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness and blend.
You can filter Quinoa milk, but if you're using it to make pudding or kheer, there is no need to filter it.

Milk recipe using Pumpkin seeds:-

Ingredients:

1 cup soaked Pumpkin seeds
¼ tsp Vanilla extract (Optional)
Sugar (Optional)
3 cups of water

Recipe:

1. Grind 1 cup soaked Pumpkin seeds with 3 cups of water.
2. Add Vanilla extract and sugar for flavour and sweetness.
3. You can filter this milk using nut-milk bag.

Milk recipe using Sunflower seeds:-

Ingredients:

1 cup Sunflower seeds
3 cups of water

Recipe:

1. Grind 1 cup Sunflower seeds with 3 cups of water.
2. You can use this milk to make your favourite recipe like pancakes and waffles.


Milk recipe using Chana dal:-

Ingredients:

1 cup soaked Chana dal
3 cups of water

Recipe:

1. Soak 1 cup Chana dal overnight and grind it with 3 cups of water.
2. There is no need to filter this milk.
3. Use this milk to make your curries thick and creamy.

Note: These plant-based milks can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
