In today's video, I address the question that João Ricardo Antunes has sent across the Atlantic Ocean, all the way from Portugal, before it reached me: “In the Euromillions lottery, 5 numbers and 2 stars are drawn. In total, there are 50 balls, with numbers from 1 to 50, and 12 balls with stars from 1 to 12 which are drawn. If I bet on 6 numbers and 3 stars, what's the probability of winning? Is there any formula that I could consistently use in order to calculate the probability of winning with other combinations among more numbers and/or more stars?“. I hope you enjoy it!
