Each year, more than 400,000 parade-goers attend the two largest Mardi Gras parades in northern Louisiana, Shreveport's Krewe of Centaur and Krewe of Gemini parades. Both massive events share the same parade route, which begins on Clyde Fant Parkway in downtown Shreveport and winds its way along Shreveport-Barksdale Highway and into the Broadmoor neighborhood. In this video, Chris Jay of the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau takes viewers on a guided tour of the parade route, outlining the different areas and what they're like. There's also great footage from the 2014 Krewe of Centaur parade.
