AHOY! In this episode, we are stuck in Norfolk, VA, for a week while we try to repair the broken bow thruster on our Ocean Alexander. While in Norfolk, we get to explore a bit. We tour the USS Wisconsin (a battleship, not an aircraft carrier LOL) and the Chrysler Museum. We also took a road trip to Colonial Williamsburg and spent the night at the Williamsburg Inn. Simultaneously, we were doing everything we could to diagnose the problem with our bow thruster, order the parts needed, and then try to fix it with the help of a very resourceful diver. While drinking our morning coffee in the marina, we witnessed a yacht crash into a sailboat. Cinda ducked so she wouldn't see the carnage as she was sure the sailboat would be crushed in the collision. Thankfully, the sailboat had a steel hull and the sailors inside were fine despite the rude awakening from their slumbers. We also have a surprise visitor and a DJ dance party. There is not much boating in this episode, but it is a good look at a side of the loop lots of folks don't think about -- what to do when you are stuck.
