My parents' house, which is 90 years old, does not have air conditioning. But it is cool inside the house with mud walls, and a breeze blows through the open glass doors. The wind chimes on the porch sway in the breeze and make a cool sound, and the birds join in the lively chorus. Listening to the sounds of summer while gazing at the greenery in the garden, I feel calm and relaxed. There is nothing special about it, but it is a refreshing change of pace and a stress reliever for me.
I would be happy if everyone could feel as if they were visiting their grandmother's house in the countryside.
