Fujiwara Ken's large black pine rework

The trunk is condensed to create a powerful medium-sized bonsai

Although the strength of the base and the interesting trunk pattern are attractive, this black pine bonsai is too large. Young artist Fujiwara Ken reworks this large, waist-high black pine with no branches from the base to the crown into a new shape. We will introduce the practical technique published in the September 2024 issue of the monthly "Kindai Bonsai" in a video.
