My teen years were in the small town of Tumwater, WA. population about 5500, at the time. School dances, high school sports at THS, the Sunset Drive Inn during the Summer months. But my favorite activity was cruising town in one of several hot rods. The circuit was Eagans in Tumwater, to Eagans on the west side of Olympia, then a cruise out to Lacey. Oh yeah, there were a few street races, some fist fights that would usually end by the two combatants shaking hands and becoming friends at some point. This short video takes me back with the help of one of my favorite movies, American Graffiti.
