On March 22, 1985 the St. John's Red Storm, led by Senior Chris Mullin, took on the Kentucky Wildcats, led by Junior forward Kenny "Sky" Walker, in the West Regional Semifinal. The Red Storm finished off an excellent regular season by getting a #1 seed in the tourny for what would end up being the 3rd time in 4 years. Mullin would win his 3rd straight Big East Conference Player of the Year, making him the only 3 time winner in the history of the conference. He would finish his college career as the all time leading scorer in St. John's Basketball history, a 3 time All-American, and the 1985 Wooden Award and USBWA College Player of the Year. He would be selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 7th overall pick in that June's Draft.

Has Mullin Making 11 field goals but I could only find 10. I believe the problem is the beginning of the 2nd half got cut off a bit by the half time show, and he probably made the shot there. Also I show 1 more assist than the box score gives him credit for.
