In this building a house episode we have to prepare our house before the Michigan winter hits. We begin the process mid-fall because we are leaving for our 30 day honeymoon in just 3 days. That means we need to put up the tongue and groove in our cathedral ceiling, get the blown-in insulation in and pour our driveway before the weather gets too cold and starts cracking our drywall and driveway. We don't want to turn the heat on until we get the insulation in because it will just escape our roof without the insulation and continue to blow up our heating bill.
