I bought a 100% automatic 35mm Minolta 360si for €24 on eBay & brought it out to my local college to test it out.

I was after some architecture & to talk about the features of the Minolta 360si not that there is many.

I also used AGFA Vista 200 speed film & my 28-80mm Minolta lens.

I took my e-scooter for a trip around the university of Limerick Campus trying to capture some of the buildings on color film.

I later show ye how I develop my film in a Paterson tank & then print a final image in my darkroom on my LPL enlarger.

I done the whole process in 3 days as I had a very busy schedule.

The Minolta 360si has little to no features on the camera it is a point & shoot camera that can change the leans & modes that is it.
There is no wheel to change Shutter speeds, Aperture or exposure compensation the camera does everything for you.
It is a fun camera to use as there is no real thinking involved it is just film, lens, Camera & shoot.
I shot 24 images & printed one on my black & white LPL enlarger.

Just getting out and about was fun in itself on a beautiful summers day in Ireland for a change as it was raining up until the day before.

I wanted to do a video with this Minolta 360si camera for a long time, about 8 months to be exact.
This Minolta 360si is the Japanese model of the European 303si or Maxxum QTsi better known in America.
Out of all 3 of these models the 360si was the most rare as not many hit the American & European market until of recent years due to eBay.
Sellers from Japan flooded the marked in the early 2000s Just after Minolta was bought by Sony in 2003, after that they have been selling all over the world for various prices some as high as €300.
I was lucky to pick up this bargain at €24.

I had a nice collection of Minolta cameras last year but I sold them thinking I didn't need or want them anymore. I have now started a new collection trying to find rare Minolta or mint condition Minolta cameras within a budget as you can see my budget is not very high.
You don't need a big budget to enjoy photography you just need to be creative.
