Part of URISA's Climate & Community Resilience Committee series, this webinar featured the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative (SDRCC), a network of public agencies, nonprofits, academia, and business and community leaders that shares expertise, leverages resources, and advances comprehensive solutions to facilitate climate change planning. SDRCC staff support local climate resilience and adaptation planning through knowledge building, facilitating collaboration, and creating space to share best practices. Using ESRI Story Maps as a vehicle for accessible communication, SDRCC creates interactive resources for its members to bolster regional knowledge in San Diego.

In this presentation, SDRCC staff will discuss the ways in which they use ESRI Story Maps to create dynamic resources for their professional network, regardless of knowledge level. These Story Maps range from resource databases to multi-media reports and span SDRCC's diverse program portfolio.

Speaker: A-Bel Gong, Climate Research Manager, San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative

Moderator: Meredith Gibson, Media/GIS Director, Institute for Public Strategies

Date Presented: August 20, 2024
