In the near future, a civil war is raging in the United States. The combined forces of the West - California and Texas - are close to taking Washington. Two experienced war correspondents, joined by a veteran journalist and an aspiring girl photographer, travel from New York to the capital to interview the president barricaded in the White House before the enemy gets to him.
