This week sees us taking a look around the village of Elton, where we moored last time. Nikki’s boat got a temporary fix and we were able to get under way again. We cruised our NARROWBOAT floating home through 5 double locks in total, WARMINGTON, PERIO, ASHTON, COTTERSTOCK, and LOWER BARNWELL, a mix of electric and manual wheel locks, along to a lovely mooring at Oundle. On the way we stopped for water at Fotheringay ….. what a STUPID place for a water-point! A beautiful cruise along the River Nene!
