In this video I’m going to show you a table saw fence upgrade. You Can Do This! This will definitely improve the usefulness of your table saw. I'll cover why you should upgrade your table saw fence with UHMW. I’ll be doing this upgrade on my DeWalt DWE7491 table saw, but this could easily be applied to virtually any table saw. I am using a piece of UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polyethylene to create a super tough and slippery fence for normal cuts and then when flipped, it will also be a perfect sacrificial fence for cutting rabbet cuts with a dado stack.

In addition to building this simple table saw fence upgrade, I’ll also walk you through some table saw tips and tricks.
