To oppose and protest against Unconstitutional Judgement of Cyril Redcliffe and Historical Injustice or unsupportive leaders of India or in grief of being apart from own Community or the injustice and atrocities being with Chakma and indigenous Community in Bangladesh, Chakmas of India observe 17th August as "BLACK DAY" .

#Partition and Chakma : Historical Injustice !

During the partition of India in 1947, Chakma Community of Chittagong Hill Tracts (now Bangladesh) sought to be a part of India and Chakmas submitted a memorandum to Bengal Boundary Commission On 14th July 1947.

The Chakma hoisted the Indian Tri-colour flag at Rangamati on 14th August 1947 which remained hoisted till 17th August, 1947 which brought it down by Pakistani Army and arrested many Chakma Leaders .Since then Chakma were branded Pro-Indian and hence began endless tortures in Bangladesh .

1. On 16th July 1947, Radcliffe (Chairman of Bengal Boundary Commission) was not present on Hearing to listen to the argument of Chittagong Hill Track or Chakmas.

2. The Congress and Hindu Mahasabha Memoranda did't talk a word on CHT or Chakma .

3. Two members of Bengal Boundary Commission, who heard arguments of CHT itself they were muslims and members of Muslim League keep arguing with advocate of Sneha Kumar Chakma and they favoured to Pakistan .

4. Seven pages of Arguments (in support of CHT or Chakmas ) squashed by Redcliffe from Indian Independent Act 1947 (rumours) and Sardar Patel ji letter on CHT was Crumpled and threw it down to bin .

5. Col. G.L Hyde itself declared* that " Chittagong Hill Tracts independent and according to Independent Act of India 1947 , Chittagong Hill Track is under territory of Indian dominion .

6.👉 Chittagong Hill Track or Chakma Kingdom was awarded to Pakistan on 12th August 1947 but it wasn't disclosed ( so that CHT leaders wouldn't revolt against this judgement ) . it was broadcasted in Radio on 17th August 1947 .💔

7. The partition of India and Pakistan was based on religion but Chittagong Hill Track was awarded to Pakistan although 98.5% of CHT was non muslim ( Buddhist majority ) .

8. Gandhi ji and Nehru ji didn't supported to CHT , even its took 50 days to meet with PM Nehru and he became angry when Sneha Kumar Chakma asked help for Chittagong Hill Track .

9. Two non muslim members of Bengal Boundary Commission ( Justice Bijan Mukharjee and Justice Charu Biswas ) sojourned New Delhi with Indian Leaders attempted to revise of Redcliffe Award in respect of CHT but they were reprimanded by Nehru ji or Leaders.

During 1964 after India and China war , some Chakma were brought by Government of India to Permanently settle them in India and provided all facilities but due to bad politics all facilities were withdrawn from chakmas in 1980. Event after 2 Historical Judgement of Supreme Court , Direction of Rajya Sabha and NHCR , Election Commission Chakma are deprived from their Fundamentals Rights since 10 decades in Arunachal Pradesh .

In 1971 Bangladesh became a independent country with the help of India and The mistake of Gandhi ji and Nehru ji could be corrected by Late Indra Gandhi ji . After Independent of Bangladesh SK Chakma requested to Indian Government ( Indra Gandhi ji) for several times to Include CHT with Indian territory but she didn't give attention to Sneha Kumar Chakma .
