In this video you get to see Who are Houthi ? Why are they attacking Red sea ?
The Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, are a Shiite insurgent group originating from northern Yemen. Comprising followers of the Zaidi sect, they gained prominence in the early 2000s, driven by grievances against perceived marginalization and political exclusion. The Houthi movement took its name from Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, its founder, and has since evolved into a formidable force with control over significant territories, including the capital, Sana'a.

Their conflict with the Yemeni government, led by President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, escalated into a full-blown civil war in 2014. The Houthis have accused the government of corruption and alignment with external powers, leading to widespread unrest. Additionally, their opposition to what they perceive as Saudi Arabian and Western interference in Yemen's affairs has fueled their anti-establishment stance.

The Red Sea has become a focal point in the conflict due to its strategic importance for global trade and shipping. The Houthis' attacks on the Red Sea, particularly targeting international shipping lanes and Saudi vessels, are seen as a retaliatory measure against the Saudi-led coalition's military intervention in Yemen. By disrupting maritime activities, the Houthis aim to exert pressure on regional and international actors, leveraging the Red Sea as a geopolitical battleground in their struggle for influence and autonomy.
The Red Sea is now a theatre of war, transforming from a peaceful passage to a battleground of geopolitical tensions with far-reaching global implications.
On November 19th, the Galaxy Leader was hijacked by the Houthis in the Red Sea, setting off a chain of 37 drone attacks on commercial ships. This geopolitical conflict pits Houthis of Iran against Israel impacting global trade and Indian routes are also directly impacted. As tensions rise, the world faces the spectre of disrupted oil flow, surging prices, and heightened inflation. Watch as this crisis unfolds, posing a serious threat to the world economy.
