In the very north of Sweden, in Lapland, where the days last only two and a half hours in winter and where, in summer, the sun almost never disappears. In this vast region shared between four countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia) and essentially located beyond the Arctic Circle, the adventurer makes us discover a human warmth and solidarity essential to survival in this environment. harsh, even extreme.

We find ourselves with him in a small station in the middle of nowhere which serves as a bar-tea room, supermarket, pharmacy, post office... A village of 43 souls has gradually been built around the rails, and sometimes the atmosphere in the “waiting room” is so warm that passengers forget about their train in favor of a conversation.
