These things are beautiful! I've never got my hands on one before and I jumped at the chance to give it a good old RGB video upgrade.
Standard, the NEC Duo-R outputs wishy-washy composite, so let's put a Video Amplifier in there, grab the RGB signals and output through DIN-8 SCART.
Sounds easy enough. 😬
