For over a decade, the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) has been managing a remediation project, known as Project CLEANS (Cleanup of Abandoned Northern Sites), on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan. The project includes the Gunnar Mine and Mill site, the Lorado Mill site and 35 Satellite Sites in northern Saskatchewan.
