How to Make a Table and a Box for a Shapeoko 3 XXL

I apologize for taking so long to post this video! I have been in and out of surgery, and at the time of publishing this video, I am going back into surgery today…its be pretty tough to get around to editing the video but…better late than never!

Supplies:
4x4x8 yellow pine
2x4x8 pine (studs)
4x8x ¾” sheet of Maple Plywood, you can use any plywood you want.
1x4x8 premium pine for trim pieces (optional)
6” in locking casters (Heavy duty to support more weight)
Overlay hinges.
Cabinet Handles
Plexiglass
Caulk/silicone
3in wood screws
1 ¼” pocket screws
Sandpaper: 80-120
Paint (Optional)
Spar urethane water based (optional)
COFFEE!

Table Dimensions:
Overall, the profile for this table is 48” inches deep, 60” inches long, by 38” inches high.
I cut the 4x4’s to 30” inches. Frame boards were cut to 45” inches and 60” inches. The narrow side cubby is approximately 18” inches deep by about 30” inches high and spans the depth of the table (48” inches). The extra stock/cutoff bin is approximately 18” inches high from the top of the table down, 42” inches long by 48” inches deep.

Box Dimensions:
Back Panel: 47” inches by 30” inches high
Side Panel: (no window) 48” inches by 30” inches high
Top panel: 47” inches by 48” inches
Window Panel: TOP strip: 7 ¼” wide by 47” inches long. BOTTOM: 7 ¾” wide by 47” inches long. LEFT/RIGHT Vertical sides: 4” inches wide by 14 ½” long.

Cut a piece of plexiglass to fit the opening with a ¼” deep by ½” wide Rabbit around the inner edge of the “window” opening, attach all the pieces together with pocket holes and screws. Secure the glass with clear silicone and small nails. Let dry for at least a few hours before you attach it to the box.

Door Panel TOP: 8 ¼” inches wide by 24” inches long. SIDES: 3 ¾” inches wide by 14 ½” long x2. BOTTOM: 7 ¾” inches wide by 14 ½” long x2. REMEMBER: You need to make two doors, so double these numbers using ¾” inch plywood. Use pocket holes to attach the pieces together and attach with pocket screws and wood glue…Clamps required.
