Yakuza Kiwami, the first ever remake of the series, was literally just Yakuza 0 with less content and a worse story. It probably would've been better as the first game on the Dragon Engine to figure things out before they made Yakuza 6... But hey at least it spawned a million Majima memes so uhh...
