Anna Elisabeth Anneliese Michel was a German woman who underwent 67 catholic exorcism rites during the year before her death. She died from malnutrition for which her parents and the priests were convicted for negligence homicide but many Catholics till this day believe that Anneliese's suffering had a much deeper meaning.
