I think we all remember when we first started using ChatGPT, but it's very rare to have your initial reaction caught on video. In the case of OpenAI's SORA announcement, I was lucky enough to have my reaction caught on tap after coming back from a break during a data science bootcamp for 900 people.

I had the opportunity to chat with the class about SORA and go through it for the first time on video. Reflecting on it now, I am perhaps even more amazed by SORA and its implications. It's an absolute game-changer.

I believe this is going to shake up the world. There will be a lot of good, a lot of interesting work ahead. However, there are also potential challenges and issues that we'll need to grapple with.

Rumors are that the folks at OpenAI have been sitting on this since last March. What else do they have up their sleeve? This is an exciting time.
