Dinizulu Gene Tinnie, an artist and activist recognized for his long standing Middle Passage Ship Replica Project, won the 2023 Social Justice Award as part of The Ellies, Miami’s Visual Arts Awards. The honor recognizes those who work for equality in their daily lives and artistic practice.
