I am helping my son with a new project, swapping a Chevy LS series 5.3L engine / 4L60E into a 1987 Cadillac Brougham in place of the original 307 V8. This project has been developing for the last two years or so and has reached the point where the old engine must come out so the new engine can go in.
Installing an LS engine is more complex than you might think. There is a lot of research required to understand how to wire, install the ECM, set up mounts, set up the fuel system and more. My son has been making preparations with my assistance and we will share that information as the project moces forward.
