The meaning of Al-Malik

Linguistically, the word Malik comes from مَلَكَ.''Ma-la-ka'' All words that derives from this word means affection, impress toward opposite side.

The using of term: the meaning of word is included in the meaning of term. We can explain it what we mean as 2 meanings when we call Allah Al-Malik. Whose Mulk is limitless. (No limit can stop it) He has the power and uses it as he wishes.

Some verses mentioned Al-Malik

Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account." (3/Ali Imran,26,27)

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.(62,Jumu'ah,1)

The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [ Allah ] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving.(17/Isra,44)

So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. (20/Taha, 114, 23/Mu’minun, 116)

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. (59/Hashr, 23)

True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. (25/Furqan, 26)

[All] sovereignty that Day is for Allah ; He will judge between them. (22/Hac, 56)

The Day they come forth nothing concerning them will be concealed from Allah . To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing. (40/Ghafir, 16)

"Allah will take all the earth on his hand (on the Day of Resurrection)
Allah is gonna fold the heavens on his right hand and speak: ""I am the king. Where are the kings of the earth? (Bukhari, Muslim)

In the rumor of Ibn 'Umar,

Allah folds heavens and take to his right hand. "I am the Malik(King). "Where are the tyrants ...Where are the arrogants? Then Allah folds the earth with his left hand and speaks: I am the Malik(king). "Where are the tyrants ...Where are the arrogants? (Bukhari,Muslim,Abu Dawud)

The differences between the mulk of man and Allah

1.The Mulk of Allah surrounds the earth and the Akhirah(afterlife) and the mulk(property) of man only applies to earth.

2.The mulk (propert)of all people on earth are doomed to extinction. The only one whose property(mulk) is not doomed to extinction is Allah,

3.The mulk of man diminishes when he spends it. The Mulk Allah of the Lord of the Worlds is not so.

4.The Mulk Allah of the Lord of the Worlds is not so.But the property of Allah is related to both seen and unseen things
