On September 28, 2024, the Chief Medical Officer's Office in Kohima hosted a health check-up camp at Kohima Village PHC to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Imchatoshi emphasized the scheme's importance. The camp offered services like health check-ups, diabetes and hypertension screenings, obstetrics, gynecology, and dental care, benefiting over 58 attendees.
