In Moving, a Warsaw-based producer--Late Night Beats--challenges himself to write, produce and record an emotionally meaningful piece of music within one sitting. The EP explores how far a simple, hardware-based setup can be pushed, to produce increasingly complex textures and rhythms. Each track is presented in the order it was recorded, tracing the evolution and the eventual decline of a musical concept.

The music starts off with fresh, relatively simplistic compositions ("Father Time," "I Walk Slow"), later slowly evolving into more complex textures ("Spacetime Jam"). The following piece ("It Takes Two") arguably presents the peak of this musical approach, with the following song ("When It Rains") displaying a slow decline of its creative potential. The closer ("Is Music Fun") offsets the clearly audible exhaustion with the formula by devolving into playful, almost self-deprecating sounds.

"Moving" was recorded between January and December 2021, exclusively utilizing hardware electronic instruments, such as the OP-Z from Teenage Engineering and the 0Coast from Make Noise. The EP also features electric guitars looped and mangled with a BOSS RC-505 looper. All tracks were captured on the mixer's master track, without any post-recording mixing.

The music is meant to be accompanied by the artist's anti-aesthetic and "angry" self-portraits that reflect different, both serious and not-so-serious, events of the past few years.
