When trout are eating October caddis, this is no-brainer. I intend to use this on the Merced River outside of Yosemite soon.

Hook: Tiemco 2487 size 12-8 (smaller sizes sometimes work better than larger ones)
Thread: Danville’s Flymaster Plus 6/0 Black
Body: Orange dubbing (I use a homemade acrylic)
Rib: UTC Ultra Wire Brassie Size Amber
Thorax: Peacock hearl
Hackle: Pheasant church window feather (partridge or hen will probably work better but I was out)
