In December 2018, I travelled on Railway Touring Company's The Christmas White Rose from Ely to York and back. We were hauled by LNER A4 60009 Union Of South Africa on the outward trip and LMS Princess Coronation 6233 Duchess Of Sutherland as far as Peterborough on the return.

60009 is first seen arriving at Ely and then departing York for the NRM with much whistling from the crew. Next, 6233 drifts past the NRM viewing balcony on its way to Holgate Sidings to join the ECS. 60009 is then seen again, this time shuffling up and down the North Yard.
