The Singapore Prison Service (SPS) is hosting a virtual Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators (APCCA) from 19 to 23 September 2022.

APCCA is a platform for government agencies responsible for prison and correctional administration within the Asia-Pacific region to meet, exchange ideas and share best practices in corrections, amongst its 34 members from 27 countries and regions. The Conference is attended by more than 700 participants from 21 countries and regions.

With the theme "Forging New Frontiers in Corrections", this year's APCCA reflects the importance of looking beyond the pandemic and improving correctional practices through sharing information amongst correctional agencies worldwide.

SPS serves as APCCA's Joint Secretariat with the Hong Kong Correctional Services Department, and regularly participates in local and international conferences on corrections to share its best practices on various topics.
