In this episode I show you how to remove a 4L60E transmission from a 2000 Chev Silverado 1500. Guess I turned up the boost a little too much and smoked the transmission. Being a LS turbo truck with a fender exit, the transmission is a little easier to remove since their is no exhaust in the way. I still had a struggle with stripped bell housing fasteners though. If this were a non-turbo vehicle there would be an extra step of removing the exhaust.
