In this video, we cover the recent call by Alternative Prime Minister Nominee, Rainbo Paita, for an independent inquiry into the government's actions regarding the transfer of funds outside of the budgetary appropriation approved by the National Parliament. The Member for Finschhafen, Rainbo Paita, has urged the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the Ombudsman Commission to investigate a K60 million payment that has raised concerns among Gulf Provincial Member Sir Chris Haiveta. Paita also expressed serious concerns about the actions of the Prime Minister and the Treasurer, particularly regarding the alleged misappropriation of funds meant for the people of Gulf Province.
