If you need a quick, easy ESL lesson plan idea, I've got you! This lesson was created because I needed a bonus lesson, and I've used it countless times since then. In this ESL lesson, we are taking the English song "Letter to Me" by Brad Paisley and learning English from it. The entire lesson plan is built around the song. Students can learn vocabulary, talk about culture, as well as discuss the past vs. the present. Feel free to copy and paste the entire lesson plan to use in your ESL class!

// ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Megan! I’ve been an ESL/EFL teacher in China for over 10 years. I share the tips and tricks, information and inspiration that I wish I had when I first started out teaching.

I’m currently teaching at a university, while also getting my PhD in Curriculum Design. So if you’re looking for a fellow teacher who is balancing work, study, travel, and daily life, let’s be friends!

Let me know what other videos you’d like to see from me—whether that be days in my life as a teacher, living abroad in China, travel videos, or specific advice on a topic!
