Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have united four times to co-star in a Bad Boys film, and the franchise is back in the spotlight with the fourth installment now playing in theaters. As for what's next, the cast and filmmakers of Ride or Die would be up for doing a crossover with other major franchises.

CBR's Kevin Polowy spoke with the Ride or Die team while on the red carpet for the new sequel's premiere, and each of them was asked about potential crossovers with similar franchises like Rush Hour and Beverly Hills Cop. Nobody was opposed to the idea, and for Will Smith, it was an easy answer. He picked Rush Hour, which co-starred Jackie Chan, with whom Smith appeared in 2010's The Karate Kid. Smith also explained how such a crossover would be a "genius" idea, with co-star Martin Lawrence agreeing.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back once again as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, but this time, they are the ones on the run after they are falsely accused of a crime. Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the film is written by Chris Bremner and Will Beall. It stars Smith, Lawrence, Tiffany Haddish, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Eric Dane, Rhea Seehorn, and Ioan Gruffudd.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is now playing in movie theaters.
