Growing up in a conflicted household in Hackney with his mum and after being victims of a house burglary, Pat rebelled and this led him to drinking, smoking weed and taking MDMA at raves from a young age.

By 17, he had taken his first line of cocaine, coinciding with the start of his DJ career.

Pat eventually discovered Xanax and Ketamine, leading to a dangerous cocktail of drugs while working in the clubs. The music scene's normalization of drug use seemed to justify his behaviour, but it ultimately led to his downfall.

For most of his early 20’s, Pat lived a hedonistic lifestyle that took a toll on his spiritual, mental, emotional and physical well-being.

His downward spiral culminated in contemplating suicide after his brother's best friend took his own life.

He resorted to prescription medicine to put an end to his suffering, but fortunately, he texted his family before attempting suicide. They intervened immediately, got him sectioned and hospitalized.

Despite this close call, Pat persisted in his self-destructive behaviour, leading to drug overdoses and a collapse in Ibiza the following year, followed by an attempted overdose when he was back in the UK.

It wasn't until a four-day binge another year later, that he hit rock bottom and begged for help. His sister intervened and arranged for him to enter rehab two weeks later.

Pat doesn't blame the music industry or club scene for his addiction. Instead, he acknowledges his responsibility for the damage he caused to himself and others, while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
His journey to sobriety wasn't easy and since then, he has lost four friends under 30 to suicide, which has only fuelled his determination to reach out to others struggling with addiction.
Through his social media, Pat aims to provide guidance, direction and advice to those who may be spiralling like he once did.
