Johnny Dorelli, nome d'arte di Giorgio Domenico Guidi (Milano, 20 febbraio 1937), è un cantante, attore, conduttore radiofonico, pianista e conduttore televisivo italiano.

Biografia
Nasce a Milano il 20 febbraio del 1937 ma vive la sua infanzia a Meda. Figlio d'arte, nel 1948 si trasferisce negli Stati Uniti, dove suo padre Aurelio Guidi (morto nel 1958), cantante tenore con lo pseudonimo di Nino D'Aurelio, si era trasferito per lavoro insieme alla moglie Teresa. Studia il contrabbasso e il pianoforte alla High School of Music and Art di New York[1] e si fa notare in concorsi televisivi per giovani talenti, dove si esibisce con il nome d'arte di Johnny Dorelli (il cognome D'Aurelio storpiato dagli statunitensi).

Esordiì nel 1951 a 14 anni con il 78 giri Arrotino/Famme durmì per "La voce del padrone". Rientrò in Italia nel 1955 e fu messo sotto contratto dalla CGD di Teddy Reno, per la quale incise i primi 78 giri, cover di brani statunitensi.

Johnny Dorelli, stage name of Giorgio Domenico Guidi (Milan, 20 February 1937), is an Italian singer, actor, radio host, pianist and TV presenter.

Biography
He was born in Milan on February 20, 1937 but lived his childhood in Meda. Son of art, in 1948 he moved to the United States, where his father Aurelio Guidi (died in 1958), tenor singer with the pseudonym of Nino D'Aurelio, was transferred for work together with his wife Teresa. He studied the double bass and the piano at the High School of Music and Art in New York [1] and was noted in television competitions for young talents, where he performed with the stage name of Johnny Dorelli (American surname D'Aurelio).

He made his debut in 1951 at 14 with the 78 rpm Arrotino / Famme durmì for "La voce del padrone". He returned to Italy in 1955 and was put under contract by Teddy Reno's CGD, for which he recorded the first 78 laps, cover of American songs.
