Auto darkening lens or solar powered welding lenses are common because they adapt to the light making it easier to see when your hood is down, but you aren’t welding. This can be important especially for a pipeline welding lens. You can’t arc outside the bevel when welding pipeline on the pipeline so many go for a singles welding lens like the arc one. Austin has had a wens lens, the wens ultra electric ice in his pipeline welding hood recently. He thinks the wens welding lens is the best fixed welding lens he has tried.
