I love these 1950's Dinky Toys. They were (inadvertently) built to last as this example testifies. It is certainly over 60 years old. They were simple toys with great charm and lasting popularity. There are few parts so a restoration is a fairly simple project. A short, straightforward video therefore. An example of how quickly the charm can be recaptured with this tired, play-warn example.
