brahms pieces often have a highly constructed nature, are built upon minuscule, concise motifs and never fail to convey a deeply romantic temperament, enshrined in a classical form. the use of motifs is most apparent in this well-known piece by brahms, op118 no2, and we'll see how brahms architects a piece from start to end.
