Drama filled ocean passage sailing from Vanuatu to Australia. We outran Tropical Cyclone Lola, a huge category 5 storm, when we left Port Vila. Dee then had to Solo Sail our 53' Amel, SV Jaygo, for days at sea avoiding the New Caledonian coral reefs when Rob was flattened by Covid. After all that we sailed into a massive East Coast Low on our final approach to Australia. Too long for a single video, so this is Part 1 of 2.
