"Runnin' From This," the third single from Snatam Kaur's upcoming album, Heartflow, is a sweetly playful yet insightful folk song sung entirely in English. Snatam's tenderly shimmering vocals are complemented by two acoustic guitars and soulful pedal steel lines, while the lyrics explore being present to the pleasures of both silent meditation and the most precious aspects of day-to-day life — oneself and those closest to us — and the irony of drawing away from their peace and joy. Based on a poem Snatam wrote after meditating, she composed the song with band members Sukhmani Rayat and Ram Dass.
