I have finally gotten to design my own home office! I have been dreaming up plans that ended up tossed away for over a decade. Now that it was finally happening, one of the most important things to me was modularity -- so it could be exactly what I wanted. For this IKEA is the best there is. (Spending big big bucks on a custom job wouldn't make sense in a rental apartment.)

So I spent a lot of time deciding on what system to use, and ultimately choosing the IKEA BESTA system. I have learned a lot about BESTA. I would have done a few things differently, if I knew then what I know now.
