Changing the world, I think, will come with a fair share of Thinking Outside the Box!

Imagine if everyone in the world decided to start construction on their very own earthship. 8 billion plus people gathering and repurposing hundreds of trash tires, bottles, cans, and cardboard sounds like an ideal way to start cleaning the world up, for sure. 8 billion plus people being self-sufficient and self sustainable with water, electricity, temperature control, and food sounds like a nightmare for the money people that are in control of the system the way it is currently built to date. The current state of our infrastructure is so that rich people continue to get richer, and for the average working man to remain in a state of slavery to uphold a less than sustainable existence.

Sounds like an uphill battle, right?

The alternative is to continue on this slave made infrastructure, all the while continuing to watch the overconsumption of the resources of the planet and just watch it die, along with all the people on it.

Maybe it's worth an uphill battle?

There will definitely come a time of make it or break it with the world and it's very limited resources. We have been warned for decades that the system with which we as humans have built is stacked like a house of cards. Eventually the house of cards will crumble and fall and the people will all fall with it. Wouldn't it be nice to be among those that HAVE already built an earthship and can live in harmony with the earth? If taken enough time to really consider it,... Could earthships be the answer to Solving the World's Problems?
